TEXTILE PRINTING
SINGLE COLOUR PRINTING IS A TECHNIQUE WHERE A COMPUTER CONTROLLED BLADE CUTS YOUR DESIGN OUT OF PRE-COLOURED VINYL. THIS IS THEN HEAT APPLIED TO YOUR GARMENTS AT 180 DEGREES. THERE IS A RANGE OF OVER 50 COLOURS AVAILABLE INCLUDING SOME SPECIAL EFFECT VINYLS SUCH AS GLITTER, METALLIC, FLUORESCENT AND MIRRORED EFFECT. THIS IS ONE OF OUR MOST POPULAR PROCESSES AND LASTS A LONG TIME BECAUSE OF THE INTENSE EVEN HEAT THE PRINT IS APPLIED WITH UNLIKE SOME 'IRON ON' PRINTS. THIS PROCESS IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR GARMENTS THAT ARE TUMBLE DRIED AT HIGH HEAT.
FULL COLOUR PRINTING (TRANSFER PRINTING) IS A TECHNIQUE WHERE YOUR DESIGN IS PRINTED IN A VECTOR FORMAT ONTO WHITE OR CLEAR VINYL. A CUT LINE IS PRE-CREATED AND THEN CUTS AROUND THE SHAPE OF YOUR DESIGN. USING A RELEASE PAPER THIS IS THEN HEAT APPLIED TO YOUR GARMENTS AT 180 DEGREES, SIMILAR TO SINGLE COLOUR PRINTING. OUR TRANSFER MACHINE PRINTS UP TO 720dpi, ENSURING HIGH QUALITY, CLEAR BRIGHT PRINTS. THERE IS NO LIMIT ON HOW MANY COLOURS CAN BE IN YOUR DESIGN AND THIS MAKES IT IDEAL FOR PHOTOS OR DESIGNS INCLUDING FADING OR SHADOWS.
SCREEN PRINTING IS A TECHNIQUE IN WHICH INK IS DIRECTLY APPLIED TO THE SURFACE OF THE GARMENT THROUGH SILK SCREENS. IT IS A GREAT PROCESS FOR LARGE QUANTITY ORDERS, AND LARGER DESIGNS. EACH COLOUR IN YOU DESIGN IS APPLIED ONE AT A TIME THROUGH A SEPERATE SCREEN, THEREFORE THE COST WILL INCREASE FOR EACH ADDITIONAL COLOUR APPLIED.
